Essential Duties Summary

Help maintain our digital presence, including our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others. identify content, manage weekly updates and develop ideas for additional growth.
Manage daily social media tasks, as well as participate in creative discussions about new campaigns and promotions to market the University.
Manage a comprehensive calendar of events for the campus, student organizations and others to capture and promote on social media.
-Contribute to website projects in various ways
-Monitor and post on social networks
-Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat and others
-Manage/update photo and video content
Web editing skills
-Update, maintain, track and report analytics on social media platforms using HootSuite and other software or applications

Required Qualifications

Applicant must be enrolled full-time as a McMurry student with an award of work study funds verified by the Office of Financial Aid. Must be able to furnish original forms of identification to complete payroll documents as described in IRS Form I-9 “List Of Acceptable Documents.”

Minimum Required Education High School/G.E.D.
Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional writing and editing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and interest in detail oriented work
Exceptional critical thinking skills
Positive attitude, openness, willingness to learn and work collaboratively with others
